Can reach a height of 3 metres.  To get the energy they need, these creatures use the filaments in their membranes to do a photosynthesis of the ultraviolet spectre of light. They also use their tongues to extract chemical energy from other organisms.

The filaments on their tales are used as a defense against predators.  At the contact with the skin, they produced little electric shocks that confuses their enemies.
